What should I do if Ricochet cannot verify my MW4 install?

Guide Q&A

The troubleshooting guide says the message can result from game-file problems or software conflicts and does not always mean an account ban. First verify Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 files through PC.

It also recommends fully exiting PC, restarting the PC, and checking for conflicting overlays before trying more disruptive steps.

Test a normal PC launch before starting other software so you can narrow down the cause.
